Faculty Development Programme
The real strength of the institution lies in its strong team of highly qualified, competent, dedicated and committed faculty who constantly endeavor to upgrade and update their knowledge, skills and qualifications. The management has been very supportive and has encouraged the faculty in research activities, participation in seminars, workshops, and symposiums at the state, national and international levels. Seed money for publication of Ph.D thesis if offered. Financial awards are announced for those who publish research papers in standard National and International Journals. Many departments like Commerce, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Social Work have taken up research projects in collaboration with external agencies. Many members of the faculty have presented papers, have been resource persons and offered consultancy services on many subjects. The faculty has used its expertise and research experience in guiding students in their project work as part of the requirement of the curriculum.
All new faculty members are initiated to the culture, tradition, practices and values of the institution through informal / formal orientation programmes, by the management, Principal and Heads of Department. The management also conducts seminars on current trends in education, teaching methodology etc., periodically.
